BRYONY MAY KUMMER-SEDDON

This piece provided the audience the opportunity to learn more about the Old College building in Aberystwyth, Wales. Various rooms within the building became installations implying certain points in the buildings history. The audience explored the building individually with directions supplied via a pre-recorded MP3 file and headphones. As there were also soundscapes within some of the rooms this allowed the audience to experience sounds from a number of sources at once. The building was still open to the public during the performance so the audience would also engage with the buildings current use and atmosphere.
